Mountain Top
When talking about Branson golf courses, we hear a lot about Big Cedar Golf’s Buffalo Ridge Springs, Top of the Rock, and the new Ozarks National. Soon you’ll be hearing much more about Payne’s Valley, designed by Tiger Woods. But there’s another course in the Big Cedar family you may not have heard as much about, or given much consideration to play.
Mountain Top is the Gary Player designed short course, adjacent to Ozarks National and the soon to open Payne’s Valley. It is 13 stunning par 3 holes winding through massive rock formations on top of a ridge that provides spectacular views for miles in every direction. And don’t think the course is a pushover. The greens are wicked fast and send your ball on quite a roller coaster ride if you hit it in the wrong place. Like all the Big Cedar courses, Mountain Top is immaculately maintained. Mountain Top is walking only, but an easy walk with the complimentary push carts. Part of the fun is traversing the iron bridges that wind through the rock formations!
It’s easy to include Mountain Top to your Branson golf itinerary if you want to play a few extra holes after playing Buffalo Ridge Springs or Ozarks National. Or if you only have a couple of hours and need a little exercise before enjoying your other Branson activities, Mountain Top is a great option.
