Sometimes a nice hotel is the best option for several reasons. Most homes and condos charge a cleaning fee on top of the daily rate. The cleaning fee typically is $100-$300 regardless of the length of your stay. If you are only staying 1 or 2 nights, that cleaning fee dramatically increases your average nightly cost. Hotels do not charge a cleaning fee, so you might be better off staying in a hotel for a shorter trip.

Perhaps there are only two of you traveling, and you don’t need the additional space of a condo or home. A hotel room will suffice.

Hotels provide a little more privacy than a home or condo. After a long day together on the golf course, some groups value a little separation during the evening. Hotel rooms give you that opportunity to retreat and recharge for the next day.
